Melissa Mosca is the Chef de cuisine of The View at Brick Landing Plantation, a true find for those looking for delicious food and a warm personality. She is responsible for The View at Brick Landing Plantation’s culinary restaurant offerings.

Melissa comes to our Ocean community from Clarksburg, WV. Her love of cooking began very young in her family’s kitchen beside her Italian mother and grandmother. Some of Melissa’s first experiences in food preparation and presentation was family dinners made from recipes, in many instances, brought from Italy by her grandparents and taught to her by her mother.

Chef Melissa has a two decade culinary journey that led her to Brick Landing Plantation. Drawing from experiences in fine dinning restaurants, country clubs, and family owned restaurants, Melissa brings to Brick Landing Plantation the skill and passion that makes dining a memorable experience.


We just had the most amazing thanksgiving buffet dinner. We rented a house in Holden Beach and were looking to not cook or clean. We took a gamble driving over to Ocean Isle to eat here and we’re SO glad we did. The food was incredible! The candies yams and oyster stuffing were superb. The slow roasted turkey and fresh shrimp and oysters were amazing! Most of all, Chef Melissa, was extremely attentive and concerned about making sure my nut-allergic children could safely eat the food. She took the time to walk through and discuss every item on the buffet to ensure the safety of my children. I’ve never had such amazing service in regards to our allergies. I highly recommend The View for anyone looking for fantastic food and crazy good service.
